The Case of the "Self-Playing" Keyboard

Our son had just had his 1st birthday and Derek was putting together his new bike in our basement. Derek, the kids and I were just laughing and hanging out. We had a little toy keyboard on the floor and the kids and I had been playing with it. We hadn't played on it for a few minutes, when all of the sudden it started playing by itself! This keyboard has a dozen or so preset songs, and it was not playing any of those songs. It was an eerie song, with interesting progressions and chord changes. We were astonished, and Derek and I could not stop staring at the keyboard, and then looking back at each other wondering, "is this really happening?". It was really happening. It played on for about a minute and a half to two minutes...we couldn't believe it was still going. Once it stopped, we were all laughing with surprise and astonishment in our eyes. 

I have heard before that spirits can play with electronic devices such as children's toys.  This was truly a mystery...

Who was playing the keyboard? 

Was it some random magnificent glitch within the toy keyboard? 

Was it a music loving spirit playing a masterpiece for us, while we were enjoying each others' company? 

This was a truly amazing experience. We loved the song that played and wished so much that we had it recorded. We have tried many times to leave the keyboard on, and see what happens, but so far, nothing like that night.
